Well put, Sproat. WE MUST NEVER FORGET.
I'm not 100% sure my parents didn't have some blood on their hands and
I'm not 100% sure what to do about it.
Interesting op ed piece yesterday analysing Buchanan. Hate that guy but
he makes a point that the US entered WW II only after we were attacked,
and when it was too late to do much about the ongoing slaughter. Could
it be our current ineffective flailing around trying to prevent small
scale atrocities (not very effectively) is some sort of guilt for how
badly we mismanaged our entry?
As I said before, I never claimed to have all the answers and I consider
it an open question, despite my isolationist stance, as to when we as a
country should be prepared to take action to stop atrocity that is not
"our problem" per se.
