Some answers to your questions;
Why general: because I posted a general question.
Why post the link: because by saying that theres an issue in
Brickshelf would cause people to flood over there to see what's amiss.
(By saying theres a fire in Brickshelf everyone would turn around and
check, but, by posting a question directly regarding the situation would
hopefully incur some help.)
> a lot better by dropping a note to Kevin
That's a good idea, to inform the Brickshelf administrator of the problem.
Yet, I was unaware of who the administrator was, and I didnt know how to
contact him.
Plus, I also wanted to understand the reasoning behind the individuals purpose!
Did he/she do it for attention
Did someone hack-into his/her Brickshelf folder and manipulate the image
I posted to general for assistance
not to be lectured!
I'd hoped that those with the means would do something
I didnt post to admin cause Suz usually takes a day to respond
So I posted to you guys
its up to us to do something.
I saw the problem first, and I asked for assistance.
Hopefully you acted upon your suggestion, that's what
I expected someone to do. For I didnt know what else to do!
I was just asking for help,

Just one question, if it was so wrong to bring up the link, why did so many
of you include it in your response
seriously why! I brought it to attention
for purposes of help, surely you could of responded without proliferating
the link? Conversely, you could have e-mailed me with your suggestion and
took action quietly on your own. Action that I didnt know how to go about!

| (...) A simple "How do I contact the Brickshelf administrator?" would have produced the required information fairly swiftly. And discussing the "Why?" belongs much better here in .debate. ROSCO (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

| (...) That raises a good point. The logical place to look for contact info specific to a site is typically the site's "front door", in this case www.brickshelf.com (contrast with LUGNET(tm) which has a clear way to contact admins on the front (...)
