The way seeing your General Practicioner ought to work.

Hi all, This is almost two weeks old at this point, but I just got around to it and thought it was worth pointing out. I strongly feel that this is how our first-level medical support ought to work. (URL) (22 years ago, 5-Aug-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Is the Palestinian Cause Dead? The Latest Terror Attacks

(...) Welcome back! (...) I fully expect that there was no massacre in Jenin, but how much do we individuals really know? And how much does the average Palestinian know? It seems possible (though unlikely) there there was some naughtyness going on (...) (22 years ago, 5-Aug-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Is the Palestinian Cause Dead? The Latest Terror Attacks

(...) I often wonder what Palestinians must think of the UN when resolution after resolution is passed condemning Israel's actions and nothing is done. (...) That is the extremist view. Extremists exist on both sides. There are many in Israel who (...) (22 years ago, 5-Aug-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Is the Palestinian Cause Dead? The Latest Terror Attacks

Well, I've stayed out of here for a while, but something I just read has compelled me to speak out. This statement from CNN ( (URL) ): (...) If Israeli citizens are killed because the Palestinians don't like the results of a UN investigation, then I (...) (22 years ago, 5-Aug-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: John Deere Mecha

(...) Selective logging is the way of the future (well it was the way of the past as well). Many logging companies are using heavy -lift helicopters to bring trees out of the forest rather than dragging them out on skid trails. I've seen video of (...)   Re: John Deere Mecha

(...) I think the point is that they're not trying to clear the whole forest; they're just trying to remove certain trees. With environmental legislation affecting how corporations use natural resources, minimal disturbance might be an attractive (...) (22 years ago, 4-Aug-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: White House Office to Counter Anti US Sentiment

(...) OMGoodness--I agree with Scott A! Yeah, instead of identifying the problematic issues that cause anti-US sentiment, let's get a good PR campaign to 'spin' it. I think that some of the anti-US sentiment is *un*justified, but there are some (...) (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: White House Office to Counter Anti US Sentiment

(...) Hmm. This reminds me of when the Conservatives lost power in '97. Rather than recognise their problems, they simply claimed that voters misunderstood their agenda and tried to make the result go away. That very attitude was part of their (...)   Re: One nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

(...) ... and Sweden is just between. I'm sorry for bringing this old thread back to life, but I'd just like to point out that following the UN nomination of Norway's place on the top of the "quality of life" index, the Independet reporter Paul (...)   Re: Mouse Mod with Lego Figure

I would rather have something posted 40 times and me see it than have it posted once and me not see it at all. Now I do agree (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jul-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Mouse Mod with Lego Figure

Oh come now. Not everyone reads every group. Don't stifle the flow of information. I, for one, am interested in all cool Lego related things, and I don't care how many times people tell me. (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jul-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
