One postscript to my other comments above... somewhere in the back of my mind,
I had this nagging little item about the Lego Star Wars sets and the weekly S@H
specials. So I checked back thru 1 Jan 2001. None of the Star Wars sets have
been in the weekly specials. I know that at least 50% of the clearance I saw
this year was SW (possibly more than 50%).
Are all the SW sets still listed in the S@H/LD catalog ?
Has TLC sold them well enough that they have no interest in putting them on
special ?
or ... Does TLC have a quiet period to allow the retailers to move their stock
before the mothership starts any discounting ?
Just curious.
