You are correct. I usually open my shop, then post a notice here of the
shop being opened. When I open my shop with new items that are on someone's
wishlist, they get an e-mail telling them I have it. Those people usually
get the jump on people who read the notice here, and have a chance to buy
the parts they want first.
Every time I reopen my shop after adding new inventory several dozen people
get notifications of new parts they're looking for.

I'm just a freak that way... :) But more often than not I have a sample of the piece that I want on hand, so I can just look at the part number stamped on the bottom and do a quick search. Chris P.S.
