Just thought I'd toss in my $.02. Yes, Susan's parts are smoky and a day of
cleaning is required in order to use them, but I can't ever recall an order from
here that wasn't exactly as she advertised it, i.e. all the parts were present
and accounted for. This is more than I can say for some ebay sellers.
What I wanted to add to the diatribe is my method of cleaning for those who
might be interested. Things needed for my variant: a large bucket, Simple Green,
an old shirt or pillowcase, a dryer. It's fairly simple and goes something like
this: from the box, they go into the pillowcase which is tied shut and tossed in
the bucket. I add the Simple Green and hold the bucket in the shower for a
minute to get the sudsy hot water flowing. I set the bucket down and let the
pieces soak for 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on how busy I am. When I'm done
soaking the pieces, I take that pillowcase and toss it in the dryer until they
are dry. VOILA! No more smoke, and my newest additions have a pleasant scent to
them.

| I have also purchased from Susan. Paul, I would caution that your email to Susan be sensitive to the fact that she is probably the smoker. A good remedy to get rid of the smoke that I used: put the pieces in a tub of Pampers baby wipes. I used an (...) (24 years ago, 11-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.theory)
