I don't agree. Out of 234 completed auctions this year I have one
possible deadbeat. Out of >500 this year and last I had <10 deadbeats
total. I think that's pretty good. Are your figures very different from
that, Scott?

Transatlantic shipping may be part of the issue. I had one bidder whinge about fixed shipping charges being too high, and some other misc whinges from other bidders lead me to believe that there is a non zero fraction of bidders that don't read the (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

(...) Define "bad bidder." I define that as anyone who wins a lot and does not end up paying for the lot--and, of course, if they don't pay, they don't get the lot. There's only a handful of people to whom I will ship before I have received (...) (25 years ago, 25-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.theory)
