We have had packages go across the Pacific and Atlantic ocean and have been on the receiving and sending end of lengthy shipping times. I bought a couple things from Australia last year and had them shipped via surface mail. They took at least 3 months! I have received packages via surface from Singapore and Germany and can vouch that it can take a very, very long time. I think the longest I've had to wait is about three months as well.
