I found these in the Rochester area. Apparently they are a recent shipment and a featured item (i.e., displayed on endcaps). You may want to check your local Wal-Mart for the Hydro Search Sub set 6180 for $14.97. It's about 297 pieces and MSRP of $49.99. That's 30% of retail and about 5 cents a piece. The only cool part in the Extreme Creatures set is the fiber optic doohickey. Other than that, it's mostly 'fluff'; Technic parts in colors other than black and grey.
