(...) Sounds reasonable to me. If it's a collectible, the packaging affects its value, based both on condition and rarity. (...) If the answer to the second question is "it is worth more", then, in my view, the item in question is a collectible. If it is "no difference" then the item isn't. LEGO is not fungible this way. I ordered something from a guy in Germany. More than six months after he said he shipped it, I hadn't received it. He decided to mail me another one. A while later, I received the first one he sent. They used to support many companies, but dropped that part of the service for borderfree. Now your best option is a mailbox etc on the USA side of border and pay them to re-ship stuff to you.
