  Shipping Labels/Invoice

I'm still looking for a source for full-page laser printer form that has a small area with peel off label. Not a page size sticky label (these cost 42 cents and still have to be cut up.) But the kind that mail order fulfillment uses, so the computer (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  Re: Good stick-on printer labels?

Yeah, I didn't see what I wanted at the store. I checked Avery and found 5165 and 8165. The 5165 cost $42 for 100. 5265 is a box of 25. These are full page size. I'm interesting in something that has only part of the page perforated as a label, with (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  Re: Good stick-on printer labels?

(...) I use the avery laser printer ones. You can find them at a store like Staples. They have many sizes, and are good if you want to both use them in your laser printer or simpy write on them. -- Scott (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  Good stick-on printer labels?

Hey, Has anybody found a good way to make your own sticky shipping labels? I'm thinking of those page-size sticky sheets that mail order houses print your invoice and shipping label on. Who makes these and what type of printer do they favor? (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: Very unamused about latest Amazon.com order

(...) You may have a good theory there. I've never had a problem before and I'm somewhat relieved that it doesn't seem to be a widespread holiday-rush-cut-corners policy. They did contact me and offered to replace the items at no additional charge. (...) (23 years ago, 6-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: Very unamused about latest Amazon.com order

(...) I received my order from Amazon today, very nicely packed, the only problem was they included 6 books and a pc game that I didn't order! Somebody is going to be ticked! Julie (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: Very unamused about latest Amazon.com order

I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon offered you some form of restitution if you complain loud enough, perhaps a coupon code for your next order. I have always had great service from Amazon and ordered 4 of the UCS Tie Fighter sets. All 4 arrived in (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: Very unamused about latest Amazon.com order

Yes, I think you must have got someone who was on his last day of work or something. Everytime I have ordered from Amazon, everything has been exceptionally well packed. Infact, I order 6 UCS Ties last week and they each arrived in seperate packing (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.market.shipping)

Very unamused about latest Amazon.com order

I ordered two half price UCS TIE sets and they shipped them to me in plastic bags. They are beaten and crushed and look like they were shipped in plastic bags. If these had been gifts I would be furious. If they hadn't been discounted I would return (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.market.shipping)

Shipping supply bargain at Sam's Club

Don't know if this was just a local offering but in case you're at Sam's Club over the weekend you may want to check this out. I found an "Internet Postage Starter Kit" in the office supply aisle offered through NCR and stamps.com for $1.91. It (...)   Re: Please read, re: S@H orders to Australia

(...) I guess thats what happens when you use UPS. Personally, I like Priority Mail (in USA). As for Canada's wonderous mail system, CANADA POST - first class mail seems to take twice as long as first class in US.... oh well...   shipping during the current tragedy

As is probably obvious, many packages are currently being delayed by the shutdown of the airports. It appears that the USPS is attempting to move Priority Mail by ground.   Wow! Free Delivery Confirmation!

I just found out about this tonight, so I haven't tried it out yet, but it's on the USPS web site. (URL) package needs to be mailed via priority mail.
