I just found out about this tonight, so I haven't tried it out yet, but it's on
the USPS web site.
http://www.usps.com/cgi-bin/api/shipping_label.cgi
The package needs to be mailed via priority mail.
The downside is the info doesn't fit on the free labels available from the USPS.
Still, the cost of paper, ink and tape is less than the .40 for DC.
I can only guess they are offering this for free because Delivery Confirmation
is basically a useless service anyway. IMO.
If anybody tries this out, please post your experience. I'll most likely try it
out tomorrow.
