Re: Is there *any* way to track a standard priority package?

(...) Ugly situation. You might wonder if the buyer did receive it and is hoping you'll refund some or all of his money. If it really did go missing, the buyer might wonder if you really shipped it. (...) As has been discussed, it wouldn't have (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: Is there *any* way to track a standard priority package?

(...) This is the thing I don't get about USPS Priority Confirmation. I had one instance--the only instance *ever*--of a package going missing (and yes, John, I'm still looking for another Chief's Teepee for you!), and I checked it out but the (...)   Re: Is there *any* way to track a standard priority package?

(...) That's what I figured. I will take the receipt on Saturday and ask the clerk anyway, but I feared there would be little they would/could do. (...) I've heard this also. One buyer described this more as shipping confirmation than delivery (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping)

RE: Is there *any* way to track a standard priority package?

Mike If you did not insure it or track confirm, there is no way. In fact, my PO said if Milissa puts a track confirm on the package and we put it in our mailbox for pickup, they will not guarantee tracking. We MUST take to the PO to get them to (...)   Is there *any* way to track a standard priority package?

I shipped a package to California on 3/31 that I am told by the buyer never arrived. I didn't use delivery confirmation as it was not requested by the buyer. I've just been informed this week that the package never arrived. I want to do what I can (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping)

Re: Shipping LEGO from EU to USA

(...) Probably so. I never bothered to check the item prices on the receipt vs. the ones on the order form. It's been a very long while, but I think they were all rolled in together on the order form, but separated out on the receipt. No complaints (...)   Re: Airmail vs Economy

(...) Some of the pricing mystery is de-mystified here ... (URL) Economy Letter Post is calculated at flat rate for anything under 16-oz. It appears that Airmail Letter Post is cheaper for small packages (up to 5-oz) because of the rate schedule (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  Re: Airmail vs Economy

(...) The important issue is not the means of transport, but priority to use that certain means of transport, AFAIK.   Re: Airmail vs Economy

From what I noticed with the new USPS pricing, they seem to be really pushing the "Global Airmail Letterpost", or what used to be called "Small-Packets Air". I've seen numerous times where the cost for airmail was actually less than surface, (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-01, to lugnet.market.shipping)

  Re: Airmail vs Economy

  Airmail vs Economy

Recently, I sold some parts to a buyer in Australia. The package was supposed to go airmail, but (apparently) went surface because the USPS clerk forgot to stamp 'Airmail' on the package.
