No more CC freebies at PayPal (eff 11/6)

I saw this on the site, would have been nice if they sent an email: Notice Date: October 11, 2001 Effective Date: November 6, 2001 To reduce the costs associated with credit card processing, the ability to receive credit card funded payments will (...)   Ecount.com

Anyone ever sign up and use www.ecount.com yet? I have known about if for a few months but never see anything about it. Just now I saw the first Ebay auction with an Ecount.com payment button. If this is a good service, perhaps we have another (...) (23 years ago, 7-Sep-01, to lugnet.market.services)

  Re: eBay searcher?

(...) This works perfectly well, in fact it is how I have my ebay searches formatted. I have three searches running with my wanted sets, pirate ships, and acccessory packs listed, and get one email per group per day with the new listings. Good luck, (...)   Re: eBay searcher?

(...) Has anyone found anything like this out there? I thought Ebay's "Favourite Searches" option might help, but for that you're limited to twenty-five searches, and can only get e-mail for three of them. I still can't find any way of having some (...) (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.market.services)

Re: Factoring between US and Brazil ?

When I was living in Brazil I remember that each bank was charging a different amount to transfer money from another country. Some banks charged up to $50 but after doing some research I was able to avoid the taxes, I found out that Citibank didn't (...) (23 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.market.services, lugnet.loc.br)

Factoring between US and Brazil ?

  BrickBay... yet another hiccup

Between (approx) 1745 and 1805 EDT, BrickBay was unreachable. I got various symptoms of unusability including "The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed." Now I see that the Discussion D/B has been reset back to (...) (23 years ago, 2-Aug-01, to lugnet.market.services)

Re: My worst E-Bay/LEGO Experience-A Story, A Warning

Re: My worst E-Bay/LEGO Experience-A Story, A Warning

(...) Actually, such an auction isn't necessarily deceitful of him-- mainly because people in other countries & overseas don't *have* S@H, and thus may not have access to the sets. However, I will admit that doing what he did DOES sound like he was (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.services)

<snip recap of unfortunate ebay transaction> Well, hopefully the Lego packing slip will educate other biddders as to where to find those "rare" and "hard to find" sets that pop up on eBay.(Not a moral either, but maybe a happy ending, kinda.)   My worst E-Bay/LEGO Experience-A Story, A Warning

  Brickbay Down?

Re: large number of Brickbay users??
