I agree with that. Anonymizing the derivative data would solve that. It might
even be a good idea to anonymize the bidding pages themselves.

No, then the personal updates via e-mail would also have to be anonymized, otherwise anyone who wanted to try to tally up people's amounts could just get it from a big e-mail (...)
