    Ebay auction advice —Alan Demlow
Hi. I'm planning to run a moderate-sized auction of about 20 sets on Ebay starting in a couple of days. So, I'm soliciting advice. --Is it best to run an auction for 3 days, 7 days, or 10 days? --Should I start the auction so it will hit more (...)         Re: Ebay auction advice —Tom Stangl
(...) Others will probably disagree, but I have the best luck with 10day. But if you want to get rid of them fast, do a 3day, but MAKE SURE to note in the title that it is 3day. (...) Don't end it on a weekend - lots of people bid from work or (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Ebay auction advice —Robert Farver
(...) You can also link to the item page on lugnet, but in my experience, actual pictures of your items seem to really help. I use a digital camera to make it easier, just snap, download to pc and put in listing. Or take pictures on film, an (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Ebay auction advice —Sybrand Bonsma
(...) One of the reasons was that many Ebay auctions connected to the pictures on Lugnet, making Lugnet to pay for other people's profit, without getting anything in return.            Re: Ebay auction advice —Scott Runkle
(...) MS Paint does work with both jpg and gif images. You need to have the later version of win95 or have win98. MS Paint is severely limited, however is adequate for a beginner. Regards, Scott (24 years ago, 13-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Ebay auction advice —Heather Patey
(...) Ah good, must check my version. Sorry about that, I thought there might have been more to it than that. The moral of the story is: if your version of MS-Paint can open a JPG, then it works and you might as well use it! Make sure to save files (...)            Re: Ebay auction advice —Dan Jezek
(...) Windown 98 version of Paint works with JPG and GIF files. Win 95 version probably doesn't. The last time I checked, IE5 displays bitmaps. But if you want to convert them to JPG, ACDsee has a converter also. (24 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Ebay auction advice —Jim Stroot
