  BrikWars this weekend

If anybody's interested in playing BrikWars this weekend, I'll be willing to host. There were plans for a Columbus one, but it seems to have fallen through. I'd rather it be on Saturday or Sunday, but could run it on Monday (Labor Day) if necessary. (...) (24 years ago, 28-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: Next Columbus BrikWars

(...) I'm out on Labor Day from Friday, 3-4 PM, untill Monday, 3-4 PM. I also can't make it to the scheduled 8/29 game. Dang it. ~Drew (24 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: Next Columbus BrikWars

It looks like I will be able to attend a Labor Day BrikWars event without any prior commitments getting in the way. So if Gino wants to/can get a room at the Soldiery for the day, we can run ourselves a nice long adventure then. Or we can do it on (...) (24 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: Next Columbus BrikWars

In an email discussion with Adrian, I realized I made some mistakes in the costing. For anyone using this as an example: (...) Hey, counting size by looking at pictures isn't that easy. Anyway, that would make him a little more expensive. Is that 8 (...) (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: Next Columbus BrikWars

(...) Excellent. (...) You really aren't planning you life well then. Get some priorities. BrikWars is LIFE. <thwunk> Pardon, me. The minifig on my desk got out of hand. (...) Hmm. Let's see. TL6. Torso is about 6x14=84. Call it 4d10 armor (22AV). (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

I might be able to attend, at least partially anyway. (...) I'll (...) Almost every weekend (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: Next Columbus BrikWars

(...) The heck with family. I'm planning to head home on Sunday or early Monday in order to be able to play. Actually, I am. We're probably going to go camping with my SIL and her husband that weekend. But, if we can get a game organized, I'll be (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: Next Columbus BrikWars

(...) I'd love to do something on Laber day, except I think i'll be in another city visiting family then. Nuts. Unless these things are run on weekends that aren't holidays (or they're held in cleveland) there's very little chance I'll ever be able (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: Next Columbus BrikWars

(...) Well. I'd like to go for 8/29 because my college roommate will be in town and he'd like to play. Fridays are going to be bad for me. I'm out of town 1 out of 2 or 3 weekends. So, shall we do 8/29? Also, we've talked about doing a big battle on (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: Next Columbus BrikWars

That is precisely the night on a biweekly schedule that I will not be able to attend. Well, the Monday preceding ain't good either :) I would like to stop by, but please do not wreck your schedule on my behalf. I am curious about the game and live (...)   Re: Next Columbus BrikWars

(...) Well, I can make that date, but could we do 9/1, or 8/24? Doing it on Friday would make it alot easier for me... (...) Agreed. (...) Not right off the top of my head. (...) I hope you haven't done it already.. ~Drew (24 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

Re: LEGO, August 15th Battle Write-up

(...) Well. You'd better take next Tuesday off and come down to join us. We need to break this trend. BTW, we talked about playing Labor Day. Are we going to do it? Where? I seem to recall that it sounded like we can get a table at a store down (...) (24 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh, lugnet.gaming, lugnet.general)

Re: LEGO, August 15th Battle Write-up

(...) (non-sequitor time) Ever notice that we always play our battles on the 15th? Our first battle was on April 15th, the second on July 15th, now this one on August 15th. That's rather strange curious, don't you think? Adrian -- (URL) (24 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh, lugnet.gaming, lugnet.general)

  Next Columbus BrikWars

So, in the interest of keeping our bi-weekly schedule, I'd like to propose a 8/29 battle. I'd like to suggest we use the Soldiery again. Does anyone have suggestions for a scenario. The Soldiery has some interesting scenery I'd like to try out. (...) (24 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

Re: LEGO, August 15th Battle Write-up

(...) I would recommend writing to LSI in Enfield (attn: Legal Department) and asking them what they think. LEGOhio sounds to me like trademark dilution. --Todd p.s. I am not a lawyer. (24 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

Re: LEGO, August 15th Battle Write-up

(...) So? Ohio is known as the Buckeye State. I really don't care what acronym we use or what it stands for. I'd be happy simply with "A bunch of crazy guys playing violent war games with LEGO(tm) brand building blocks" Greg "Ford, you're turning (...) (24 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)
