I bet that kid is pretty enthused now. Way to go.

As to shows, John Neal told me that they won an award voted on by the
public for favorite layout at LaCrosse, and they got pinged by 1/2 dozen
different show sponsors about exhibiting. I suggested that if things are
continuing to build, they might want to start asking the show sponsors
for some cost recovery... right now they are getting hotel rooms etc on
their own nickel, and that starts to add up.

Also the national NMRA convention is in (St Paul?) MN in July. Hmm...
Wouldn't THAT be something to exhibit at.

Leaving this in .general because it's discussion around building the
hobby up in the public eye.

In response to Larry's desire with Ben's second to see **2** LEGO train layouts at the same show, PNLTC did a small (last minute) show -- with a hasty display -- on March 7th at which there was indeed two separate groups each with its own display.
