  Poor Richard's

If anyone is interested, (Particularly Bryan Hodges seeing as how no one else seems to be in the 'Springs), I just thought I'd let you know that I checked out Poor Richard's Toys downtown today and they didn't have a single LEGO product. It seems (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co.cos)

  Re: Good finding at K-Mart

(...) I went to that K-Mart (went there to eat Little Ceaser's Pizza) and while I was waiting for my pizza I went over and looked in the Lego aisle... I didn't see the set you're speaking of (I didn't really look too hard for it) but they did have (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co.cos)

  Good finding at K-Mart

I had a pretty good finding today at K-Mart (N Nevada and Fillmore). I was looking through a mostly overpriced bunch of sets and not finding anything too interesting (or in my price range) when I stumbled upon a Combo Set. It was away from the rest (...)   Same store, same location, different findings...

Well, I went to Target yet again last night and they still had plenty of blue buckets. They had moved their Lego aisle (seems to be a popular thing to do lately) to the back aisle. I was there looking for 2001 SW sets, what I found was one Technic (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co.cos)

  Target, Union and Academy.

Well I hit the Target at Union and Academy last night and I can confirm that they have at least 50 of the blue buckets... I went there looking for 2001 SW sets (I have most of 'em already, but I want extras) and all they had was the Battle Droid (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co.cos)

Re: Know of any good stores?

(...) I thought that CRAP was actually CRAPP. Crummy Ramp and Pit Plate. Those are the 32 X 32 baseplates with the raised area usually used in Larger castles, space bases, etc. The POOP is related to the BURP (Big Ugly Rock Piece) as well. You can (...)   Re: Know of any good stores?

Um, Piece Of Other Pieces. One type of big chunky brick, that could have been formed from several pieces but wasn't. If (like the tower battlement piece) it has some partial unique shapes, it's called a CRAP. So, I guess it was more of that in the (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co.cos)

Re: Know of any good stores?

Hi Bryan. I didn't get any free time in Colorado Springs at the holidays, oh well. I think Little Richard's Toys has Lego. That is, unless that store on Tejon has morphed into something else again. It's between Poor Richard's Book Store and (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co.cos)

Re: Know of any good stores?

Thanks for the good list, you mentioned some places I hadn't thought of. I had some luck today at the ARC Thrift Store on Austin Bluffs. They sell bags of toys and I looked through them hoping to find some loose pieces. To my surprise and (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co.cos)

Re: Know of any good stores?

(...) Unfortunately there's not really any "good" places to buy Legos here. Toys R Us is good for the latest stuff (with the exception of the SW sets, they didn't get those until well after other places got 'em.) I usually shop the Walmart up by (...)   Re: Know of any good stores?

I bought a lot of buckets and tubs at the usual places: Target, Kmart, Walmart. Mostly up at North Academy/Chapel Hills. That was 1998 though, a good year for tubs. The Kmart further down Academy is just as good for end-of-year clearance sales. There (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co.cos)

  Know of any good stores?

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good places to buy LEGOs in Colo. Springs. The last time I was at the Toys R' Us by the Citadel Mall, they didn't seem to have much of a variety of sets. I found some Mindstorms at the Discovery Channel (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co.cos)
