Re: Anything good in Boxing Day sales?

(...) Not a thing. I haven't driven the car for two full days now. Glorious! Plus, I got *almost* enough buckets and tubs for Xmas from my wife and family, so there was much sorting to be done this year. But Gail, I was thinking of you a couple (...) (22 years ago, 27-Dec-02, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Anything good in Boxing Day sales?

Happy Boxing day, Living in a laid-back area of the country, I shovelled snow today rather than shopped, as our stores don't open until tomorrow. The Walmart flyer has two buckets half price. Has anyone found anything else worth heading out for? (...) (22 years ago, 26-Dec-02, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: My Christmas Gift from my parents

Hello all! (...) I suppose that I should show my plates as well. I have had these for about, ohhhh, 3 years now. It was a Christmas present from my girlfriend. I will say that all of the above that was mentioned is true for me as well. It's a funny (...) (22 years ago, 26-Dec-02, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.people)

  an other LEGOMAN plate

Hey Jude, Welcome to the club! I also have mine... Since a few months now: (URL) can't beleive how many comments I had so far... And of course, the SMILES! I had to overcome the "sillyness" stuff about myself at first, but I'm so happy now that I (...)   Re: My Christmas Gift from my parents

(...) Here in New York State, I used to see a car with the plate LEGO 1 (about 6 or 7 years ago). It always passed me going the other direction when I was driving a vending delivery truck in Ithaca and I never had occasion to stop the driver and (...)   Re: My Christmas Gift from my parents

(...) Dear Jude, I hope you enjoy your plate! I'm from Pennsylvania and I also have a plate that reads "LEGO MAN" with the only difference being a space between LEGO and MAN. I've had mine since 1993 and I'm surprised it hasn't been stolen yet. I'm (...) (22 years ago, 26-Dec-02, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.people)

(...) That may not be particularily representative, though. For example, rtlToronto has 0 female members. That said, I don't think anyone honestly cares in our group-we are what we are, and the issue has never really come up. Calum (22 years ago, 25-Dec-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca)

My Christmas Gift from my parents

I opened a Christmas gift from my parents, a <set:7315 7315> and noticed it was a little heavy. So I opened the box, despite the cry of no from my sister who did not want me to build it right in the middle of opening gifts. Inside I found a new set (...) (...) me laugh out loud: "The global hub that connects enthusiasts together is Lugnet.com (Lego Users Group Network), a Web site with 2,000 paid members, including several women."   What kind of stuff does NovaLug do? When do you meet?

Hi, I'm from Antigonish county and I'm just wondering what kind of stuff you guys (at Novalug) do and whether you get together regularly. I mostly play with themes like castle and pirates, not town or trains really. I was also wondering if you've (...) (22 years ago, 21-Dec-02, to lugnet.loc.ca.ns)
