I'd answer this, only I don't subscribe (and don't plan on ever looking at
that group) to o-t.debate, and I really don't think anywhere else would even
fit what I want to talk to Richard about, with the exception of email.  I
would have taken this to email, only Richard says he doesn't do email, for
the reasons stated below.

Anyone wishing to reply to what Richard has said can go to o-t.debate and
pick it up there, however, I am saying here and now that my part in this
thread ends right here, and I wish whoever started all of what I can only
say is becoming time-consuming nitpicking had not done so.

People have rights to feelings and beliefs, but let's not dwell on that,
let's just keep lugnet.loc.au nice and clean and send any humour you're
trying to impart on others to lugnet.off-topic.fun, as that is where I think
humour belongs.

As for relaxing, Richard, you really ought to know by now that with software
and install disks over a year old, nobody who is going through that has time
for relaxing.  They're too busy trying to figure out what is wrong with
Windows 98 (or whichever version) and constantly looking for answers that
aren't (yet) on the MS support site.

Cheers ...

Geoffrey Hyde

Good grief Geoffrey, lighten up dude, you're bringing the scene down.

You're the guy who posted a rude and abrasive message into the group • telling
us we'd be ignored until you deemed otherwise, claiming you couldn't think
of a better way to meet your needs (how about, 'hi all, I need to catch up
with Melody a bit urgently, can anyone help?').

A few of us (me, Larry, Peter) have tried to lighten the mood again, • without
heaping abuse on you.

You're the guy who keeps telling people to drop it and/or take it outside,
yet you're the guy who keeps failing to do so, and you're the guy who • failed
to change the Subject like Melody suggested, and you're the guy who keeps
getting all serious and bringing us down.

I'm sorry you've had computer problems, must have been a bugger, but • relax,
really, its OK now.

(And I know I could take this to email, but as a regular reader of • .loc.au -
I sometimes think I practically live here - its getting this group back to
light and laid back that's my interest)

Richard
Still baldly going...
