Do you know why they made that piece? Along with

provides a way to connect modules in a 2x2 space whilst simultaneously
restricting rotation. Sounds fairly useful to me... although I would like to
have a 1x1 version as well.

Everyone seems jumpy on Lugnet today... perhaps its just me.
I didnt mean to imply it was useless, just that it wasnt a major buying point
of the set. Im by no means a brick-purist, and am all for new and non-standard
pieces, except when more, more versatile pieces could function in exactly the
same role. I guess the best balance between versatility, structure and cost is
a matter of personal taste.
I dont think Ive ever used the brick with two pegs in a MOC before, however I
use pirate ship hulls and BURPs all the time ;)
