Re: bizarre changes to postage stamps due to GST

(...) A fool or a person who doesn't have the time to go to a post office, or someone without easy access to a post office. I buy books of 45c stamps and use them on everything. Admittedly, I am usually paying too much, e.g. I put 4 x 45c stamps (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Dear Mel and Richard...

Re: bizarre changes to postage stamps due to GST

(...) Yeah, I had to think about that for a bit too but it does make sense (it'll give you a headache though!). If postage OS is worth $1, GST free, then if you put a $1 domestic stamp on, you've actually only paid 90-91 cents for the postage and (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Lego at Sydney Airport

  Re: Shareholder Discounts

(...) Although the price has fallen lately, I've been told the dividends are still quite good, and if you're lucky enough to have got the discount card as well, it seems like a pretty reasonable investment. Damn. ROSCO (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: bizarre changes to postage stamps due to GST

More on this international/domestic stamp thing: There was a changeover period which expires about now, where you could freely interchange International and Domestic stamps without penalty.   Re: Things to do in Sydney

  Lego trucks at Powerhouse

Went to the display today, not bad. There were a dozen or so 2148 trucks for $5 each, very not bad. I'll probably be going back before the end of the week - anyone want some? There were also the three small astronaut sets at about 50% off... Richard (...) (24 years ago, 13-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: It should be a Target 20% off all Lego

(...) It was 20% off at the Melbourne city store today. I got the last droid escape, and I think that was also the last of the new SW sets. They only had a few of the LOM sets left. Martin (S) (24 years ago, 13-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Re: LOM Aero Tube Hanger

Good news - it IS a 20% off all Lego sale! Confirmed in Tas, we've also got a confirmation from Melbourne (Ben W). It's a national* catalogue, also on the website.   LOM Aero Tube Hanger

Hi, I was in Hobby Co on Pitt St, and saw the Aero Tube Hanger from LOM for $209. They also had a few other LOM and new SW sets however they are more expensive than GB city store (GB did not have the aero tube hanger though). Anthony (24 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.au)
