  Re: How old are you?

Hi all ... I just turned 65 a week ago and have been doing LEGOs for about twenty years ... a whole lot better than the Lincoln Logs that I had as a kid! The day after Christmas my two sons (11 & 12 y.o.) and I went to LEGOLand ... it was great! And (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.legoland, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Lego Land, East Coast?

(...) The orginal plan has always been two LEGOLand parks in the US, it is just that California won over Florida and Virginia the first time around. It is unconfirmed, but very possible, that LEGOLand will be building a park in Florida, south of (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.legoland)

  Lego Land, East Coast?

I think Lego should make a Lego Land on the East Coast. The West Coast can't have all the fun. For all the Lego Maniac's on the East Coast we have to travel all the way to Califoria costs big air fairs. This isn't areason but Lego is located in (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.legoland)

  Re: Lighting LEGOLAND California

(...) Hmm, since I do working the Consulting Engineer business, it is a very interesting article. It is nice to see contractors doing some value added thinking on projects, where as the engineer sometimes is not on site and see things. I wonder if (...)   Lighting LEGOLAND California

Just bumped into this. "Electrical Contractor," (a trade mag)'s November 1999 cover story is about wiring Legoland California. Pretty interesting to read. The audience for the article is not of the LEGO fan kind, so it's strictly business. There are (...) (25 years ago, 22-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.legoland.california)

  Coasters at the LegoLand parks

Hello, Could anyone tell me which of the LegoLand parks have roller coasters? I know the new one in California has a custom Vekoma Roller Skater, themed in a castle with tire drive lifts... someone had mentioned also that another one of the parks (...)   Re: LEGOLand Questions

(...) Carlsbad has a tiny airport itself, as well, but it's a commuter-flight only airport. James (URL) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.legoland.california)

  Re: LEGOLand Questions

Comments inlined below. (...) <snip> (...) San Diego is closer. It is about one hour south of Anaheim, and it is roughly half an hour north of San Diego (when traffic is moving). (...) I don't know when spring break is, but we went midweek and I was (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.legoland.california)

  Re: LEGOLand Questions

(...) san diego is somewhat closer, but the difference isn't too much. It will probably be easier to get flights into san diego, though, since it's bigger. (it's also usually cheaper, but if you have frequent flyer miles I guess that doesn't matter) (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.legoland.california)

  Re: LEGOLand Questions

Late January/Early February. With the exception of the first two weeks of December, that period is the emptiest for theme parks. (25 years ago, 9-Dec-99, to lugnet.legoland.california)

  LEGOLand Questions

Last week my wife suggested that I cash in some frequent flyer miles (certainly have plenty of them) and take our son (just he and I) to LEGOLand for his birthday. After my initial surprise wore off, I agreed that this would be a great idea. His (...) (25 years ago, 9-Dec-99, to lugnet.legoland.california)

  Around Dec. 20th

That's when I'll be there. Anyone up for it? (It might be anytime between Dec. 17 and 27 - I'm not sure yet) (25 years ago, 8-Dec-99, to lugnet.legoland.california)

  Re: Legoland passholder discount

(...) Thanks for the info! I'll be there around that time, maybe I'll buy something (though maybe after Xmas there'll be discounts...) -Shiri (25 years ago, 4-Dec-99, to lugnet.legoland.california)

  Legoland passholder discount

Legoland will have a passholder discount of 20% on all items including sets, which are not normally discounted, from Dec. 13th to Dec. 24th. Excluded are sale items and like. Legoland prices are closer to S@H so with the sales tax, the prices will (...) (25 years ago, 4-Dec-99, to lugnet.legoland.california)

Re: Question About Visiting Carlsbad Legoland

(...) It is about an hour or so South of Santa Ana (depends on the day). Just hop on the 5 Frw South and watch for the signs. The store (called the Big Store) is inside the park. You should visit their WEB site (link is on the regular LEGO WEB site) (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.legoland.california)

  Question About Visiting Carlsbad Legoland

I have a question for anyone who can help. I will be on a business trip to Santa Ana, CA in early December and would love to go to Legoland. How far is it from Santa Ana? Can I just go visit their Lego store and not go into the park? Thanks, Glen T. (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.legoland.california)

Re: Seeking Pictures of Statue of Liberty at Legoland

I will be going to LEGOLAND CA next week. I will try to get some pics of the backside of the Statue of Liberty. I have a digital camera and I hope to get some good pics. I will be down there for a whole week, so I plan to take a ton of pics. Dave (...) (25 years ago, 19-Nov-99, to lugnet.legoland.california)

Seeking Pictures of Statue of Liberty at Legoland

Seeking pictures of the back side of the Statue of Liberty at Legoland. The Ultimate Lego Book has pictures of the front. I would like pictures of the back side to be able to duplicate it for myself.
