san diego is somewhat closer, but the difference isn't too much. It
will probably be easier to get flights into san diego, though, since
it's bigger. (it's also usually cheaper, but if you have frequent flyer
miles I guess that doesn't matter)

about a half hour, I'd say, but it would depend on traffic

| Last week my wife suggested that I cash in some frequent flyer miles (certainly have plenty of them) and take our son (just he and I) to LEGOLand for his birthday.
