Re: Get-Together on April 28th in Southern California

(...) For those of us who may not be able to make the meeting (I will be traveling with a five- and seven-year-old who will have just spent a full day at Legoland as well as two NLS's (Spouse and Sister), so it may be too much for them), I have the (...)   Re: Many pics from Legoland CA (with link - duh)

Mark - All the pictures are great! ...but they made me realize that I missed a bunch of stuff on my last visit, so I'm kinda bummed about that. Thanks for the kids' meal pic too - I meant to do that!   Many pics from Legoland CA

Hi all, Well, I finally got around to scanning and uploading my many pics of Legoland, CA from my _*many*_ visits. I tried to take pics of things that have not been posted before, so hopefully most of these are new to most of you. There are a few (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-01, to lugnet.legoland.california)

  wedding status

As some people are aware, we have canceled our wedding which was planned for the end of April in Legoland California. The reasons for this are personal rather than logistical. A brief e-mail went out to the invitation list a few days ago. In it, (...) (23 years ago, 7-Apr-01, to lugnet.people, lugnet.legoland.california) !!

  Re: LegoLand's Lost Opportunity

(...) Yep, it's true. They used to sell some of the humans. I think the price was something like $8 each. I think I only saw them at the souvenir cart parked next to the model shop, and I never saw more than 3 or 4 at a time. I also never got the (...)   Re: LegoLand's Lost Opportunity

(...) You know, (I think it was in their first year) they did sell some of the figures from miniland. But they were so grossly overpriced, that it was ridiculous. Jimmy (23 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.legoland.california)

  Re: LegoLand's Lost Opportunity

(...) Rick, I totally agree. The first time I went to LEGOLAND, I was not only surprised, but a little disappointed that Model Shop was a model workshop and not a model store. Granted, I made my own rash assumptions about what I thought was (...) (23 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.legoland.california)

  LegoLand's Lost Opportunity

I went to LegoLand for my 30th birthday two Mondays ago and reserved what I considered the best part of the park for last: Miniland. I spent over two hours in Miniland before it was getting near closing time. I shot around 200 pictures in Miniland (...) (23 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.legoland.california)

Re: SD airport <-> Carlsbad driving time?

I would actually agree with this suggestion. I would say that the drive time to Carlsbad from the Orange County airport is about 50 minutes, but not too much of that is apt to be high traffic. Only about the first 5 miles from the airport tend to (...) (23 years ago, 31-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.us.lugola, lugnet.people, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sd, lugnet.legoland.california)

Re: SD airport <-> Carlsbad driving time?

(...) Yes, I would say 45+ minutes with _no_ traffic and (and this is *after* you get out of the messy SD airport, that could be a chore in itself). Just hop on the 5 freeway for the entire trip.   Re: Legoland in Orlando?

(...) No, it isn't a LEGOLAND. It's a LEGO Imagination Center, which is a LEGO store with some building areas outside, and some nice displays and sculptures inside and outside. John Gramley (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.legoland)

  Legoland in Orlando?

Hey all, I saw an auction on ebay that said the item came from the legoland in Orlando, FL. Is this a shop like downtown disney? I was just wondering about this, thanks! Mark (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.legoland)
