| | Re: what makes a legend?
| (...) Actually, it would be cool if along with the Ledgends sets there were acessory packs created at the same time as the sets. For example, if there were pieces in some older sets that weren't used in newer sets, but the molds still exist, the (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

| | Re: what makes a legend?
| (...) Might some consideration also be given to bringing back some accessory sets to complement the "Legend sets" already released and the others which are to come? I am thinking about the highly desired and "Fabled" if not "Legendary" Cypress Tree (...) (23 years ago, 20-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

| | Re: LEGO Sculptor
| John, Melissa, & Mark, Good points on pricing, all of them. But I stand by the US$29.99 pricing for LEGO Sculptor, as I think it gives LEGO plenty of room for profit. Pricing elements as a percentage of quantity per set multiplied by the cost of the (...) (23 years ago, 5-Sep-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

| | Re: 10001 & 10002 arrived today
| (...) You must be a relatively new AFOL, Mike. You may have had to wait a month or two, but consider that there are many AFOLs who have been coveting Metroliners and Club Cars for literary *years*. For these sets (and any sets, for that matter) to (...) (23 years ago, 17-Oct-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)

| | Re: what makes a legend?
| (...) Short, sweet and to the point. You summed up the entire problem in your last sentence. LEGO buyers are BEGGING for good quality sets. (...) The point that I think often gets lost here is not *keeping* the sets together forever (you're right, (...) (23 years ago, 21-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

| | So what happens to all the parts in 6776?
| What WILL happen to 120,000 sets worth of 6776 parts? I really wanted some of those parts, but now can't get them! I don't suppose they could sell the individual polybags from these sets through LD or something? That would be kind of neat. Though (...) (23 years ago, 29-Sep-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

| | Re: what makes a legend?
| How about a book of legends? Reprint the old contruction manuals from sets in the 60s - 80s in one large book. Sets that you cannot/will not reissue, so that the book won't compete with your own products. The plans on Brickshelf are generally not (...) (23 years ago, 20-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

| | Re: Yet another announcement on FBTB!
| (...) Why are we hearing about this new stuff on FBTB and not through Lugnet?? From the site, Tim says "A special thank you to Brad Justus for providing FBTB.net with this announcement" This, after I've yet to see the Harry Potter Lego sets (...)
