Re: Community to design new LEGO T-shirts

(...) Thank you Jake. Knowing that it is under development does help. While LD is working out production -Values?/ Costs?/ Quality control? , why not clue in Lugnet community as to the limits. (...) real (...) How about the UNICEF van, with the container doors on the back, that would give white container doors, and pannels. It has 1x3x1 doors on it, and it would require little modification to make it as you are suggesting. James (24 years ago, 16-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) I can do some digging into this, but keep in mind that the Shell promo would be millions of units. I am not sure what the quantity would be for a LUGNET set, but I am not sure that the revenue/volume would be there to meet the minimums. Jake (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Well, I'll tell you what. What we are talking about here are apple and orange AFOLs. You are the type of AFOL who likes to build and collect *sets*. You pine for the old days when sets "were still good". Me? I am the exact opposite. I look (...) (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

LEGO would be making a huge mistake if they assumed that the things we want are different than what kids want. I hear just about every day from a very reliable source that parents and kids hate juniorized sets. They want sets with more pieces. They (...)
