We have just launched a new session all about Bulk Bricks at
http://www.LEGO.com/myopinions.

Jake, I have a couple questions...

Are the auctions intended to be auction held by LEGO to sell LEGO items, or
is it more an auction service where users can post their own items? It's not
clear from the survey. You guys might want to bear in mind that being
auction *sellers* can bring you in for a good deal of flak from people,
depending on what you're selling and how it's handled. Selling unique
sculptures would probably be a Good Thing (tm), but for example selling lots
of 1x1 light grey bricks might cause an uproar, since it could be seen as
profiting from an artificial shortage caused by yourselves.

While I was on the opinions site I took the opportunity to look at the
results of "Shopping Lego.com" that I took part in last time I visited (when
you posted about this last time, back in November 2001). I was amazed to see
that the top ranked choices had been viewed only 158 times and voted for 85
times. Does that mean only 158 people took the survey? How can that be?
lego.com has enormous traffic, surely a lot more people should have taken
the survey than that?

Bulk Bricks... that wonderful subject. For all of us here, there never seems to be enough access to bricks! We want more colors and more variety of parts. Many times, we want a few of this and some of that, but there always seems to be a few special (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct) !!
