Frank & All, (...) I don't think this is a problem per say, I would call it more of a plastic injection molding issue. When I worked in a plastic plant, and we did color changes, we always had to empty out the hopper, blow it out for the possible (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

LEGO - I've heard from an LIC employee that though the Statue of Liberty sets fly off the shelves, the Minifig is left behind. Want to sell? A tangentially related question: What happens to the bricks rejected from the system while changing the mold injectors from one color of plastic to another? I already use discolored, heavily scratched or simply "wrong" color bricks as filler in (...) (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)
