  Re: ::Pokes with stick::

(...) Yep, there's fans here. (well, modest fan in my case. I just started following the storyline again after the details of the fifth book release.) I wonder how soon they can get this release out before one of the actors breaks out in zits? (just (...) (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.harrypotter)

(...) Hi Jay, I'm looking forward to Dementors, the purple triple decker bus, Honeydukes sweet shop in Hogsmeade and the Shrieking Shack - along with a million other sites and pieces for Harry's world. The more, the better. Hugs, Shirley. (22 years ago, 1-Feb-03, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  RE: Privet drive car bumper

-----Original Message----- (...) Not a very good picture, but clearly shows "non-chrome" parts in a sealed bag. Very definately not incomplete or missing but substituted at the packing plant (URL) (22 years ago, 29-Jan-03, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Privet drive car bumper

(...) My reply said: "We're sorry to hear your new LEGO set 'Escape From Privet Drive' was incomplete. Although we do our utmost to avoid this, it can sometimes occur that a pieces may be missing, especially in larger sets. I have today ordered the (...)   Re: Privet drive car bumper

(...) I hope that's in the context of some sort of apology. I've had three Privet Drive sets with this mistake (presumably a bad batch that ended up at Argos), a Black Falcon's Fortress with several redundant parts in the bottom of the box but no (...)   Re: Privet drive car bumper

(...) Just had a reply from LEGO Consumer Services Europe. Who said "All LEGO Sets are tested thoroughly before production, and we have no previous knowledge of a similar defect." They are sending me the new grilles (chrome silver perfect for (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jan-03, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Privet drive car bumper

I had two different style boxes for my privet drives. The first one with the seperate tray contained inside the box had the chrome silver grilles. The second with the thick cardboard box contained the grey grilles. Wierd hey? I have already written (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-03, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.loc.uk)

  Finally the Wait is over...

Looks like Book 5: Order of the Phoenix is going to be released in the early Summer... June 21st to be exact. It is going to be a best-seller....already (even as it is being announced). It is over 255,000 words ... and EVEN larger than HP: Goblet of (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jan-03, to lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: Privet drive car bumper

(...) Huw, The 2 I bought from my local Argos in the half price sale also both had grey grills even though the box clearly shows silver. Talking about the Argos sale I also bought the half price radio controlled racer, but can't figure out what the (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-03, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Slightly different picts for #4731

Wonder why LEGO went with (...) Not really... The (early) Lugnet version is from an early "leak" courtesy of 1000steine.de (which is why it is in German). The (later) Brickset version is the actual retail copy of the set. Lucious Malfoy is supposed (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-03, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.general)

Re: Slightly different picts for #4731

(...) His name is Lucius Malfoy...and he comes from a very rich and prestigeous Wizarding family, so I guess his "snotty" behaviour is somewhat justified. Ben (22 years ago, 18-Jan-03, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.general)

  Privet drive car bumper

I have just split 4 1/2 price Privet Drive sets, purchased in the UK. I was shocked to find that in all of them the 1x2 grille tiles that form the car bumper were grey and not chrome/silver. Has anyone else noticed this? Huw (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Slightly different picts for #4731

(...) It's Malfoy Sr. (can't remember his name) Very well portrayed in the movie, and he had blond hair, just like his snotty kid. Dave K (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.general)

  Slightly different picts for #4731

Was just telling a friend how I picked up several copies of #4731 (Dobby's Release) when I noticed that the picture on LUGNET was wrong.
