Im kind of suprised as well, actually-- it seems that a fair number of people
think that Galidor, Znap, Bionicle, Clikits, etc are more impure than I wouldve
thought them to be. I wouldve figured more people would say that they were
fine, since theyre normal run-of-the-mill Lego products, while piece
modifications are the big no-no when thinking of Lego purity.
One thing I may try doing is adjusting your calculated rating according to the
standard deviation in votes, rather than just your distance from the mean. That
may result in downplaying the stats for Clikits, etc, while increasing the
importance of questions like piece modification. Ill have to give it a try...
