Again Jake could speak for himself and give calm to the storm but he isnt.
His existance is to be a community link to corporate LEGO and the link seems
AWOL. He had time to put out a tiny fire at ILTCO yesterday while the lug
net FIRESTORM continues.

What could Jake say that would calm the storm? I really doubt, beyond
saying that the colors will stay the same, anything he says will make a
difference to the people that are upset at this point.

Yep. The parts that people are seeing today have probably been in the supply
chain for 3-6 months. The decision would have been made even farther back. And
there are several months (minimum) of new color parts in the supply chain now
destined for new sets. The best that people could hope for is the availability
of the 3 colors in bulk packs.
I would suggest that people start considering putting their money where their
mouths have been for the past week. If its that important to you, then get
together and make a fairly large consolidated group order, present it to Jake,
and see if he can get any positive response farther up the chain. Keep in mind
that LEGO production is scheduled months in advance *and* they may no longer
have any of the pellets for the original colors. Also keep in mind that (based
on reading facts at the LEGO web site) they are getting delivery of pellets on a
tanker truck load basis. So it might take a fairly large order to sway their
opinion.
