Have they done it again? —Allan Bedford
I'm just curious... not trying to sound ungrateful, but I'm just wondering if they've done it again? What I'm referring to is the seemingly repeat performance by LEGO Direct this past Friday (Nov 16, 2001). Here's the posting: (URL) find it (...) (23 years ago, 22-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Have they done it again? —Ross Crawford
(...) Allan, I think you're being a little unfair. Specifically (URL) to me to be announcements rather than questions requiring responses, and as such, according to the guidelines for .lego.direct, (URL) it was probably a bit rude for so many people (...)      (...) I won't argue with you at all. You're probably right. I guess my question should have been, "Is LEGO at all interested in any sort of two way communication, or will these always just be announcements?" I guess I'm frustrated because in my (...) Well, so far they've been pretty responsive to some enquiries here - we got some pretty quick responses when we had problems (...) (23 years ago, 22-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Have they done it again? —Allan Bedford
(...) But as I pointed out in my reply... there were more than one type of "old metal-axle wheelsets" if you go far enough back. I'm not trying to be a pain, honestly... just to get some clarification. If, in fact, it's the 2x2 bricks with the small (...) (23 years ago, 22-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Have they done it again? —Ross Crawford
(...) Well, perhaps I'm more presumptuous, but I'd take it that because he's ruling out the wheelsets, he's talking about ones which are definitely no longer available. But as I said, confirmation would've been nice. (...) we (...) "Thanks (...) I (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Have they done it again? —Allan Bedford
(...) I guess that was part of my point John. He does post, but doesn't seem to have time to follow-up on any issues that get raised. It's not that he needs to reply to each and every single response (many of his posts draw in excess of 100 (...) (23 years ago, 22-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

I wasn't trying to be "conspiracy guy". :) And it wasn't the meat of the issue I was trying to raise anyway... my apologies for not (...) (23 years ago, 22-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Have they done it again? —James Brown
(...) I understand and agree with (many of) your concerns, but I think you're wanting Brad to do things he flat out can't. Brad is "the man" with respect to LEGO Direct, but he can't tell other divisions of LEGO what to do, or spend their money, (...) (23 years ago, 22-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: Have they done it again? —Allan Bedford
(...) You're totally correct James. I'm not picking on Brad. I didn't mean for my post to come across as a personal attack and it certainly wasn't meant to be. But two issues are still outstanding... 1) I do think some of the replies to Brad's posts (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.general)
