I do agree that Lego has been very nice about this; in my first post, I
stated that their stance on these matters was one of the things that
rekindled my Lego addiction. I admired their action (or lack thereof) as
far as Mindstorms was concerned. They have now cleared this all up;
they want to change the names of some software. It is laudable, indeed
that they have decided not to force any change on current versions, but
rather from next version. That is (no irony intended) a great way to
deal with this in my opinion. Hopefully they will continue on this
route, as its shows a great respect for the consumer.
