Ludo,
In VB you can use the Wang Image (Imaging for Windows) controls that come
with Windows to resize your images. They have the ablity to edit, resize and
other format functions, as well as view,print and scan images.
For information on how to use the controls go to
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/ and then follow the links to "Graphics
and Multimedia" then find "Imaging for Windows". This should give you all
the info you need on using the controls.
