Dinosaurs - kind of a let down

I received four of the new 7000 Young Ankylosaurus today along with some
other stuff.  Unfortunately the actual dinosaur is not the same as the ones
we saw in the preview pictures from the Toy Fair.  My desire for these sets
was driven by the green corner slopes visible in this picture:

It turns out that the delivered dinosaur is not the same green, it is sand
green (which I like) and it doesn't have the corner slopes at all.  It put
it together, here it is:

It is not a bad set, my initial disappointment about the corner slopes in
green is my only complaint.  My four year old daughter likes it a lot, she
is carrying it around now.

Mike

(...) I'll bet that the corner slopes were nixed by that fellow in Billund that controls the colors that Lego parts can be produced in (the Lego Color Master). I don't know his title or name, but the Lego folks are not at liberty to talk about him. (...) (24 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.general)

(...) Man, that's an awful model IMHO. If a clone brand had produced it, there would have been an outcry! Dave! (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.general)
