I'm glad I made somebody's day! Since I don't buy Castle sets, you guys got me
beat in a few areas. The low sloped and steep sloped corners in blue are going to
be my next acquisition in 2000. They are in Ninja and the new Castle sets.
You wanted to know where I got the regular sloped corner bricks in yellow and
white? The yellow ones came in that 1995 dark pink (magenta) plastic case (looks
like a woman's cosmetic case) Basic Set. Each had 4 yellow corners. The white
ones came from one of those early 1990's Santa Claus polybag sets. There were 4
white outside corners, as well as 4 inverse corners. I think I bought about 40 of
these.
For some strange reason all 3 different yellow ouside corners are rare. The
extreme slopes only came in the Yellow Castle (4 per set), the medium slopes only
came in the pink case (4 per set), and the low slopes only came in the 7740
Intercity Train (4 per set).
