I think one thing that may have had an impact on quality was the shift in the forumla of the ABS plastic that took place at some point. For example, the old swords from classic castle were hard and stiff and likely to snap off (and also other parts (...) (22 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.general)

I've had a couple of problems. I had a misprinted piece and had a couple of black slopes that were warped pretty badly. I've had a part missing from a set once too. Customer service is very good about replacing parts. I also have run into several (...) (22 years ago, 23-Apr-04, to lugnet.general)

I was wondering if anyone has ever had any problems with items in Lego sets? The reason I ask is because I recently got 2 sets from clearance sales, and they both had oddities that I've never seen before. The first one was the Pepper mini-fig from (...)
