You want us to talk about defiling bricks...at LEGOLAND!?! You're even
braver than I thought. ;)
While I must admit to admiring the occasional custom minifig (for I am
human, and therefore subject to human desires), modifying other LEGO
elements, well, that's the devil's work. After all, Brendan, did not the
prophet Hosea denounce those who modify elements in Hosea 8:7 ("For they
have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind")?
Verily, then, you must respect the sanctity of the Brick. For It is holy,
and not to be tarnished or besmirched.

As Frank says in another post, we can certainly cover those topics in the
gaming round table, if attendees so desire.

Hmm, you bring up a good point here. I guess I just assumed that a bunch of
people would bring their modules, and we'd link them all up at the
Pavillion. Perhaps a bit of advanced planning is in order...I'll talk to
the BricksWest High Command about this one. At the very least, I can
organize the display, if need be.

You're right, that was a nice presentation by Daniel last year--certainly a
good idea for BW2004 (I don't think it'll happen this year).
Good suggestions, Brendan.

| (...) Why, what better place than the place I saw evidence of TLC employees mutilating brick? On the tour of the model shop, we were shown models under repair that had mutilated bricks (some not even really necessary, like cutting a brick or plate (...) | First let me say that I had a great time at last year's Brickswest, and I'm greatly looking forward to this year's event. Looking over the schedule of sessions for Brickswest 2003 I see a lot of empty slots for sessions. I'm not sure if most of (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.events.brickswest)
