Not sure I agree there either - speaking as an organiser of Brickvention, all the organisers, helpers, presenters, etc paid registration, it meant the difference between a small loss and a large loss. There is money to pay for licensing fees, building usage, etc. If there is a profit, it (usually) does not go into the (...) (17 years ago, 15-Mar-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

Hi Will, I'm posting here cause it may be useful to others. There is a check box that will keep your name private if you so choose. You might want to look to see if that's what's happening. i just checked the schedule, looks like the Mosaic speed build ends at 12:30 and the sumo competition starts at 1pm. that gives me 30 minutes to get something built and programmed. you better bring your batteries, cause now i do have time to make (...)
