According to Joe Menos post, last
years BrickFest brought in $13000 in profit for himself, as well as $3000
for Christina Hitchcock for use of the BrickFest name.
Can the organizers of BrickFest PDX 2007 tell us who (if anyone) will be
profiting from this years event?

As far as BrickFest goes, I think all financial statements of the
organizing committee are the property of the organizing committee and
should remain private to them. We really have no business getting into their
business.
And that of course goes for BrickWorld and any other event.

Well people have a right to ask and if they are attending (and contributing to
the profit) then they may have a reason to ask too. Peronally Id be a lot
happier paying more for a fest thats expensive because of expenses than one
that is expensive because its making a vast profit.
Likewise the organising commitees have a right to not say anything. They are
running a business and unless they have shareholders they dont have to disclose
earnings.
