According to Joe Menos post, last
years BrickFest brought in $13000 in profit for himself, as well as $3000
for Christina Hitchcock for use of the BrickFest name.
Can the organizers of BrickFest PDX 2007 tell us who (if anyone) will be
profiting from this years event?

Here we go again.
Well to say that Joe brought in a profit of $13,000 is not exactly
correct as his total expenses, if I remember, were not delineated in
his accounting . His labor and personal expenses, mileage, trip costs, etc
were not factored in.
So a more accurate statement would be that Joe earned $13,000.
As far as BrickFest goes, I think all financial statements of the
organizing committee are the property of the organizing committee and
should remain private to them. We really have no business getting into their
business.
And that of course goes for BrickWorld and any other event.

| (...) The word "profit" was Joe's: The total profit that went to BrickJournal Media LLC was about $13,000.
