    Brickfest, Westfest, Whateverfest —John Neal
Here's how I see it. 1. Brickfest has become a great event, put on by the WAMALUG. If I were them, I would have no desire to take their show on the road. It is a regional event open to anyone who wishes to come. 2. Those in the West should form (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.events, lugnet.trains.org)

(...) Well, actually, the ILTCO is comprised of LTCs from Canada, Germany, Italy, and the US. *Where* we hold the convention is irrelevant. (...)           IOLTC (was: Brickfest, Westfest, Whateverfest) —Tony Hafner
(...) I thought it was IOLTC. (...) Wasn't there some talk of a IOLTC event in Minnesota next year? I was hoping to combine this with our biannual Chicago road trip. And yes, that IS a Seattle to Chicago road trip with 5 small children. A monstrous (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.events, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: Brickfest, Westfest, Whateverfest —Eric Kingsley
(...) I think is already been said but an International LEGO Train COnvention that moves across country (USA infered) doesn't sound very international. Second what is an "LTC-hosted city"?       I guess we will just have to agree to disagree on a few points I guess... (...) First I can only speek from experiance and that experiance is with NELUG.         The Fest out West (was Re: Brickfest, Westfest, Whateverfest) —Tom Inosanto
(...) Exactly. And it really sickens me to see how much of a stink the east-coasters are being about us even using the name as reference.          Brickfest(sm) Service Mark —Kevin Loch

Re: Brickfest(sm) Service Mark —Todd Thuma
Some research I did on the matter from USPTO sources and our own USDOCs library here at Univ.of Georgia suggests that (sm) is in fact (TM) or ™.        (...) IANAL, but the one I spoke with said to use SM because the event is a service, not a product. I don't think it has anything to do with temporary/long term use.
