 Dear LEGO / *4303 (-20)
  Re: You're doin good, folks.

(...) Ah, I think I see what's going on now. I'd never actually looked at the table of contents in my 2003 Product book, but all four groups (Creator, Designer, Advanced Designer, & Inventor) are all included under the Make & Creat uber-theme. I (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: You're doin good, folks.

(...) Probably because LEGO's internal name for the new line was "Make & Create" and that was what they called it at BricksWest this year. (22 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: You're doin good, folks.

(...) It seems to be a common mistake. I can only assume people started referring to them as Creator the instant they found out about them, and it probably stuck. (22 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: You're doin good, folks.

(...) On a hunch, I think you're mixing up Creator with Designer. Designer is the group of seven themed sets (red cars, yellow construction vehicles, blue/white aircraft, robots, animals, etc.), Advanced Designer is the group of three larger, more (...)   You're doin good, folks.

Dear LEGO company, I'd like to thank you for the direction the company is going in these days. I almost lost hope a few years ago, for a number of reasons.   Re: Confused ....?? (Policy on LEGO Logo use)

(...) That's my guess too. I've seen a number of ad flyers where the logo is added in as a seperate graphic next to photos of the various items that they're trying to sell. (...) You mean so it doesn't get display in Times New Roman with a pink (...) (22 years ago, 24-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Confused ....?? (Policy on LEGO Logo use)

(...) I'm not a lawyer but my _guess_ is that this reference is directed toward persons or companies who may wish to create actual printed copies of the LEGO logo for purposes such as (but not limited to) advertising LEGO products. Most companies (...) (22 years ago, 24-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Confused ....?? (Policy on LEGO Logo use)
