    MOC: Wizard's Tower —Chris Maddison
Hi all, This is the home of Wynok the Sage. I took these pictures using a "real" camera, but I think most of them turned out pretty good. Please excuse all the noise in the background. :-) The main folder: (URL) there you can view the interior and (...) (23 years ago, 7-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle) !!

Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower —Aaron Dalan
(...) First the awesome Tower of Isengard at Brickfest '01 and now this? I am ready to crown you king of wizard-tower-building. I really like the way you have captured that 'cluttered' look. When I saw the library, I was ready to browse for some (...) (23 years ago, 7-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower —Chris Maddison
Thanks Aaron, but I can't take credit for the Tower of Isengard. That was Elliott Hyde. But I do thank your for your comments on this one. I really focused on the library on this one, making it "packed" with books. -Chris (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower —Aaron Dalan
(...) Oops! Sorry I got confused. Your foot was in one of the pictures of Elliot's Isengard tower, so that was the source of the association. Once again, great job. (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower —Wilson Raska
(...) Hey man, that's so way cool! The outside looks very nice, and the tree really makes the building complete. Great use of that baseplate as well, I also built an MOC on it as well, but I'm not ready to show it yet. :-) (...) I'd say you (...)          Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower —Chris Maddison
Thanks Wilson. The tree was hard to get right; I redid it several times. As soon as I got that baseplate, I had this in mind. (...) Thanks again. It almost took longer to clutter the place up than it did to build it! -Chris (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower —Emmanuelle Ricci
(...) Please, tell me where did you find this plate (set number, i mean) And which sets did you use to make this GREAT castle? (except for the harry potter's, i already have them) thanks Manue (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

In lugnet.castle.org.cw, Chris Maddison writes: [SNIP] (...) There are only two words that can accurately describe that model: Totaly and Schweet, thus making Totaly Schweet. :) It's AWSOME looking! Keep up the great work! (If you make more like (...)          Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower —Chris Maddison
(...) Thanks much Allan. (...) While I agree with you, in their defense, if this was an *empty* building, and followed the magic .10 per piece price, and "optimized" (where I have 2 1x4 bricks together they used a 1x8, get the idea?), this set would (...)          Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower —Allan Bedford
(...) Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was only speaking of the building itself, not the contents. An empty building as fully realized as this would be so preferrable to the hollow and vacant things that pass as buildings in the Harry (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

        Re: Wizard's Tower —Andy Lynch
Chris, Really like this one a lot. Lots of great details. Love the crenellations on the roof, I've never seen that design before, and it really looks great. I'm always fond of realistic looking trees too. :-) Nice use of that baseplate... I have a (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

         Re: Wizard's Tower —Chris Maddison

Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower —Cale Leiphart
I normally stay pretty quiet, but I had to say something about your cool tower. (...) The photos turned out pretty good.          Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower —Chris Maddison

Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower —Magnus Lauglo
Great work Chris! I like the way you've made it look very solid and almost castle-like but also clearly from the architecture, this is someone's home as opposed to a military fortess. The crenelations look appropriately "outlandic", as if they were (...) (23 years ago, 9-Dec-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower —Chris Maddison
(...) Thanks Magnus. Yeah, I wanted a sturdy, well-built, solid look, but I didn't want to go too far and give it a fortress-y look. (...)         Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower —Geordan Hankinson
wow! chris that rules! Rare it is for me (a space-mechy-WWII-plane-tank head) to be inspired so by a castle creation, but this is awesome, There is so much detail all over!
