Re: Welcome to the Wild Forest

(...) Wow Leah! That is an excellently depicted community. I love how you get a real sense of the group through the descriptions of the individuals. What a fabulous set up for story telling. I also really like the Forester structures you put up. (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Gathering Place....opinions

(...) How about all of the above? Make the gathering place a large enough space that it could have several buildings - or a large enough building that it could have several rooms & open spaces. That way, people could script character interactions in (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Gathering Place....opinions

Just wondering; all the members of Castle World (and hopeful future members too!)... For the central point (gathering place), if it's decided that's what we'll do, who would want this place to be large and elaborate, and who would want something (...) (...) I really like your update! Economy of words and pictures that conveys so much...(there is elegance in simplicity) I like the mushroom? gathering pic and the use of Naboo swamp plants in a way I never thought of outside the cottage. The (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW Questions (Was: A thought about some CW issues that may emanate.)

(...) A little history here: In the beginning, Castle World was simply a surrogate for the fact that all of us live so far apart and can't combine our creations and make a single awesome community. I was meant to be a virual community and place for (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Welcome to the Wild Forest

Leah Great website. I always enjoy seeing Forestmen themed realms as that is one of the themes that I still collect. The different factions seem to have very interesting backgrounds and personalities. I also like the structures such as the Council (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Welcome to the Wild Forest

Good Morning everybody :-) I’ve created a .FTX page for a part of my realm called the Wild Forest at: (URL) few of the bios are the same as ones already on CW, but most of them are new. Please, LMKWYT -L (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw) !

<big big snip> Wow! That's what I get for sitting in the lurch for a while and lurking, huh? ;-) I gotta say some great ideas about Castle World were raised here, both in this post, the replies to it, and the one it replied to. I honestly don't know (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW Questions (Was: A thought about some CW issues that may emanate.)

(...) Ah! Yes! This is exactly what I think Castle World should do, too! (Although I'm hardly an isolationist; I sure hope that's not the impression I gave. I want to interact with other balladeers as much as anybody!) It seems to me that this way, (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW Questions (Was: A thought about some CW issues that may emanate.)

(...) Being a long-time Magic afficionado, this is the most appealing aspect of realm placement to me. It's not very confusing, unless you want it to be, nor is it too terribly difficult to understand. This also allows (to address a subsequent point (...)   Re: CW Questions (Was: A thought about some CW issues that may emanate.)

(...) CW is a wonderful idea but the map seems to raise an awful lot of issues. It seems to me that a "Magic: the Gathering" approach would be easier to implement and cause less confusion. The Magic card game is built around many worlds (planes) (...) (24 years ago, 30-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)
