Gathering Place....opinions

Just wondering; all the members of Castle World (and hopeful future members
too!)...
For the central point (gathering place), if it's decided that's what we'll do,
who would want this place to be large and elaborate, and who would want
something simple? I saw the library idea, and like it...but some other ones I
wanna throw out:
-some sort of a temple, "holy ground" sort of thing
-an island in the middle of a lake
-something similar to Stonehenge(sp?), only with chairs or benches
-a cathedral
-a colosseum(sp?) with sort of a labyrinth of doors and portals
-a simple building, one room, with lots and lots of doors or portals
-a large tree, with stairs and ladders, topped off as a gathering place
-the ruins of a castle
-a "field of portals", sort of just a hub...
and anything else you feel like adding to the list...
What do y'all think?

| (...) How about all of the above? Make the gathering place a large enough space that it could have several buildings - or a large enough building that it could have several rooms & open spaces. That way, people could script character interactions in (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)
