Re: IoM: The Wurmhold: Part 2!

(...) I'm sorry to say I've never read that comic, although I have read the complete Tintin series. :) I'll have to see if I can get my hands on it. (...) Ahh yes. Walter will not have a pleasent surprise when the Wurm finds out. He he he. A funny (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: THE POSTING BLUES

(...) I am someone who haven't posted in a very long time so I feel very guilty of this. I do read every new post and if I like the creation I highlight it. One way of solving the way people feel ignored might be to add something like in Brickshelf, (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW CNN; was (Blank Shields Depart for Isle of Mist)

What about the Luke's torso from the Landspeeder/Millenium Falcon sets? (URL) modern? Not 'offical' looking enough? I think that would work with that torso and it is common. (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: CW CNN; was (Blank Shields Depart for Isle of Mist)

(...) Looks good to me, although the torso's look a little modern for my tastes... I'm not sure what would work better though. Maybe I'll dig through my non-armored figs and see what's what. It should be something relatively common though, so that (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

CW CNN; was (Blank Shields Depart for Isle of Mist)

All right you guys, I put together a little something tonight for the CW/IOM newscasters. I made a guy and a girl and put them in good-looking clothes and I made a wagon (news van) for them. Here's the first pic: (URL) as you can see in the next (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: IoM: The Wurmhold: Part 2!

(...) is familiar with the Belgian comic book "Thorgal" about a Viking that traveled all over a fantasy land. I had very realistic drawings and a serious overtone to it. It also had flying ships, and a whole culture about the clouds. I think you are (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Update: Sorjin's first week on the Isle of Mist

(...) outstanding job with the few pictures that were on the site. I would like to see what else you can do ;) I found your story format very original, and while at first I didn't catch on what was going on (duh), once I got the hang of it, it was (...)   Re: THE POSTING BLUES

(...) Agreed :) It is a lot easier to read than post. Let's make it a group effort to do something about it, but as we all known, apathy is very strong these days ... (...) Yes. My favorite example that I like to point to is Eric K's church: (URL) (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  IoM: The Wurmhold: Part 2!

Greetings to one and all! I'm proud to announce that part 2 of the Wurmhold story is up! (As Pawel already found out. ;) Enjoy (or hate) it at: (URL) let me know what you think, and let me know about spelling errors and such. For those of you who (...)   Re: Blank Shields Depart for Isle of Mist

(...) Wow, we NEED to do this! These are some awesome ideas James, and I think we could possibly make it a bi-weekly thing if a couple people collaborated on it. I think the news reports would provide a lot of comic relief to go along with (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Update: Sorjin's first week on the Isle of Mist

(...) I like the three journals running concurently. Having the entries like that, and seeing the same event from a couple different angles really adds some depth. I'm looking forward to seeing some more! thanks, James (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Blank Shields Depart for Isle of Mist

(...) They are mostly carrier ships, and aren't outfitted with cannon, so they wouldn't get involved in a battle of the line. They _are_ full of mercenaries, though ... If a high seas battle couldn't be outrun, they would avoid broadsides at all (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Update: Sorjin's first week on the Isle of Mist

If you read my post with Sorjin's journal for the trip out, the second page of this story will look somewhat familiar. It has those same entries, but also has journal entries by the other members of the party mixed in between. Check out the story (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Blank Shields Depart for Isle of Mist

(...) I know the feeling :) I can't wait to see the ships - are they just carrier ships, or are they equipped to handle Sea-to-Sea combat if need be? It would be a shame if they couldn't hold their own on the high waters ... The CNN-like format of (...) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Blank Shields Depart for Isle of Mist

<CBN News> Two mixed companies from the Blank Shields mercenary troop along with various supplies and equipment left Port Anders this morning with little fanfare. The main dock of the sleepy port town has been roped off for the last week as soldiers (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Parallels (nope!)

Thank you all, and I do honestly believe it t’was a chance occurrence now. I wasn’t tryin’ to ‘over analyses’ anything, it’s just that the uncanny connection and conception of each threw me. I guess if you’ve read the stories in question you’d see (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle)

  Re: The Wurmhold: Airship Cutaway.

(...) Thanks. :) It must have been from the fact that we had just hung up our sailboat that weekend, so I thought a boat would be what I would travel to the Isle of Mist in. Later, I realised that if I just made a few adjustments, it would be (...) (23 years ago, 7-Nov-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  A letter home

  Re: Parallels

(...) <snip> (...) Exactly - I remember that's also exactly how you portrayed it to Chris, me, Jeff and Tim (he just happened to be there).
