Hello everyone, I'm quite new to LUGNET, and I'm excited about getting back into castles. Some of the new Star Wars sets have nice minifig hoods; two of the sort I'm looking for can be found in <set:3340>. I know they're made in brown and there's one in the Gungan Sub set-- does anyone know of a smaller set with that piece in brown? Now (...) (24 years ago, 24-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

When people talk about Ninja a lot of times they are really talking about all castles/architecture oriental in nature and therefore there is a large amount to be said about the topic. (...) But Ninja is an established LEGO (sub)theme. Ancient also usually pops up in .build.arch (I'm assuming you are refering to greek, roman ect.) (...) Todd, Ancient theme is in the same bind as Ninja. Gets buried in .castle every time it flares up. Hard to build a community. I would like to see a group for ancient fans. Have you tried the Tamiya or Gunze Sangyo (sp?) lines of water-based acrylics? They are matched to the FS color scale, and are pretty faithful in their results. I'm not sure where you can get one, but if you can come up with a FS color chip set, you (...) (24 years ago, 22-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)

The tile door adds a lot; perhaps you could fit in a 1x3 arch for that curved look, or even use a 2x4 arch with 2 seperate 1x2 grill tiles for that portcullis look? A. Mark (...) I found the post about the first batch of custom helms, and discovered that you use Sculpey... Should have searched a bit more first. It's pretty easy to cast things in resin. All you need is a good master (it looks like you have several...) You can (...) (24 years ago, 20-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)
